BEC Peer Assessment 2025
On 27 & 28 August 2025, BEC underwent a peer assessment, with the results reviewed by the Membership Relations and Monitoring Committee (MRMC) on 15 December 2025.
The assessment highlighted 10 notable good practices, including BEC’s efforts to reduce membership fees, its proactive approach to cybersecurity, and its collaboration with the NBN. At the same time, a few areas for improvement were identified. All of these are included in an Action Plan.

MRMC Chair’s Conclusion:
Based on the assessment, BEC has achieved Full Conformity, reflecting strong performance across all areas.
This assessment showcases BEC’s dedication to transparency, effectiveness, and continuous improvement, ensuring a reliable and sustainable environment for its members.
