The second series of BEC training sessions proves to be a success

On January 31, 27 standardization experts participated in the introductory session by the BEC staff: “Getting started: The BEC organization, your gateway to the international world of standards”.

On February 22, 39 experts attended the session by SGS Belgium and Laboratoria De Naeyer on “IEC Conformity Assessment”.

On March 6, 22 experts attended the session “How to become an expert” and the next day March 7, 17 experts attended the advanced session: “How to become an international expert.” Both sessions have been supported by delegates form both the IEC and CENELEC offices.

All the above-mentioned sessions took place in the BEC offices in Brussels.

The IEC did its “Bootcamp” training, “Standards in a day”, on April 17. 28 experts from BEC and NEC (the standardization body in the Netherlands) attended this whole day session in Bluepoint Antwerpen.

Again in the BEC offices in Brussels, on April 23, the colleagues from CENELEC presented on “Harmonized standards and the HAS consultants”. 14 BEC experts participated.
