Ms. Caterina BRUSASCO

With a PhD in Physics, Caterina Brusasco started her career in fundamental research for particle accelerator and radiation detection technology to go into R&D in industry in the field of medical devices for radiation therapy.

After more than 25 years of experience in industry on an international playfield, she is a recognized domain expert in particle therapy technology, in related regulatory requirements and accredited testing according to the IECEE scheme. She is currently the manager of a group of standard experts in IBA as Technical Standards and Regulations Manager and manager of the IBA accredited Customer Testing Facility laboratory in the IECEE scheme Customer Testing Facility (CTF) | IECEE.

Moreover, she is Chair of IEC mirror committees TC 62 and TC 45 in Belgium, member of the CEB-BEC board of directors and Belgian expert in IEC and ISO international committees.
