To prepare standards for electrical installations and equipment of ships and of mobile and fixed offshore units.

To prepare publications on electrical power/energy transfer systems for electrically propelled road vehicles and industrial trucks.

To prepare standards for maritime navigation and radiocommunication equipment and systems making use of electrotechnical, electronic, electroacoustic, electro-optical and data processing techniques.

To prepare international standards for design, installation, verification and maintenance of aeronautical ground lighting of aerodromes.

To develop process management standards on systems and equipment used in the field of avionics. Avionics includes electronics used in commercial, civil and military aerospace applications.

Standardization of `e-Transporters : electrically powered transport devices for use on public roads or in public spaces. These e-Transporters provide solutions for transporting passengers and/or goods. These devices can: - be manually controlled; - have automated functions; - be autonomous. This means, standardization in the field of e-Transporters, including but not limited to: - electrical and mechanical safety; - performance and durability; - functional safety; - EMC; - maintenance, repair and recycling; - power exchange infrastructure including docking stations and storage systems. Standardization of electrically powered transport devices covered by the following TCs are excluded: - IEC TC 69; - ISO TC 149; - ISO TC 22.
