Mr. Jos KNOCKAERT

Jos Knockaert received the degree of industrial engineer in Electrotechnics in 1996 from the University College of Bruges-Ostend, the M.Sc. degree in Electronic System Design in 2001 from Leeds Metropolitan University and the Ph.D. degree in Engineering Science in 2009 from the K.U. Leuven.

He founded and is running the EMC laboratory in Ghent University.

Currently, he is associate professor with Ghent University, teaching electrical machines, electromagnetic compatibility and power electronics. He is member of the research group Lemcko with focus on high frequency problems in low voltage grids and industrial systems. He is also program coordinator of the Engineering program on Industrial Design in Kortrijk.

Moreover, he is an active participant in TC 77, TC 210 and CISPR, where he provides expert knowledge on EMC.
