Bringing Standards to Universities: A Successful Workshop

On 28 May 2026, the BEC hosted a successful full-day workshop dedicated to strengthening the role of standardization in higher education. The event brought together 40 representatives from academia, industry, standardization bodies and public institutions to discuss how standards, compliance and market realities can be better integrated into engineering curricula.
The workshop highlighted the growing importance of standardization in innovation, research and industry, while fostering valuable exchanges between stakeholders from different sectors.
