Hendrik Deleye Elected as New Chair of BEC TC 64

The BEC is pleased to announce that Hendrik Deleye has been elected as the new Chair of BEC TC 64: "Electrical Installations and Protection Against Electric Shock", following the departure of Mr. Paul De Potter.

Professional Background and Expertise
Hendrik Deleye holds a Master’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering from KU Leuven and currently serves as Validation Engineer and Standardization Officer at Niko NV. He began his career in 2021, focusing on the certification of installation materials and home automation systems.
Over the years, Mr. Deleye has expanded his involvement in standardization, actively participating in IEC TC 23B and its working groups. He also contributes to numerous IEC, CENELEC, and BEC working groups, where he focuses on the development and maintenance of standards for electrical accessories.
In 2022, he represented Belgium in the IEC Young Professionals Program in San Francisco, demonstrating his commitment to international collaboration and the advancement of the electrical standards community.
The BEC is happy to welcome Hendrik Deleye as the new Chair of BEC TC 64 and looks forward to his expertise and leadership in this national committee.
