Mr. Bram ROTTHIER

Bram Rotthier is head of the Bachelor’s programme in Energy Technology and of the Associate degree in Renewable Energy Systems at Odisee. His research domain focuses on light electric mobility, in particular the technical regulatory and standardisation frameworks that shape their safe and sustainable deployment. He is active in international standardisation committees (IEC TC 125, CEN TC 333, CEN TC 354, CLC TC 21X and ISO TC 149) and has conducted research on light electric vehicles during his time at KU Leuven and Odisee, contributing to studies on etransporters, speed pedelecs, and the broader potential of light electric vehicles for sustainable mobility.
