2025 IEC YP Programme: call for nominations
The BEC is pleased to inform you that the call for nominations for the 2025 IEC Young Professionals (YP) Programme and workshop is now open, and we are allowed to nominate up to two Belgian experts.
The IEC Young Professionals Programme aims to engage early-career professionals in IEC work at national and international levels, supporting succession planning. It provides participants and their organizations with a valuable networking platform and the chance to influence global standardization and conformity assessment. The 2025 IEC Young Professionals workshop will be held in person during the 89th IEC General Meeting from 15–19 September 2025 in New Delhi, India.
We'd like to highlight the selection criteria for the upcoming IEC YP Programme:
- Preference will be given to younger candidates under 35 year
- First-time candidates are encouraged to apply
- Candidates from companies with no prior participation are particularly welcome
- Those working in disciplines related to the IEC's activities will be favoured
- Candidates with some experience in standards development and/or conformity assessment are also preferred.
If you meet these criteria and are interested, we encourage you to submit your candidacy no later than May 5, 2025
In terms of practical arrangements:
- The IEC will cover accommodation costs.
- The CEB-BEC will cover transportation expenses.
- A detailed agenda outlining the activities will be provided later.
