Jos Remy Re-elected as CENELEC Vice-President Technical

During the CENELEC General Assembly on 19 June 2026, Jos Remy was re-elected as CENELEC Vice-President Technical for a new term running from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2028.

With more than 25 years of experience in international standardization and a long-standing involvement in IEC and CENELEC technical activities, Jos Remy has played a key role in advancing technical standardization at both European and international levels. Since taking office as VP Technical in 2025, he has led several important initiatives, including the development of the short-term viewer solution and the introduction of new standardization deliverables and processes.

His re-election reflects the confidence of CENELEC members in his leadership and commitment to addressing the technical challenges facing European standardization.
