Proposal for a new TC 128, Safe management and operation of electrical installations

The IEC will launch Technical Committee 128 (TC 128) to develop international standards for the safe management and operation of electrical installations from extra-low to high voltage, including fixed, temporary, and movable systems. TC 128 will set requirements for all activities on, with, or near electrical installations, covering both electrical and non-electrical work.

IEC National Committees are invited to vote on the proposal for TC 128 using the electronic voting system by 2025-12-19.

By harmonizing safety rules and practices worldwide, TC 128 aims to reduce risks and strengthen worker safety across industries.
